  1. I love beans too. I always wondered why the songs you’ve listed are so often piped in over supermarket sound systems. Very tricky marketing these days.

    But wait, beans don’t belong on toast.

    • I’m pretty sure 99% of Beatles songs came about due to British comfort foods. I did a butter pie post yesterday and McCartney mentioned it in his song Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey. The truth is out there!
