Sticky Business: Super Cute Sticker Making Ecommerce Sim 🐸

Sticky Business the video game

Here’s a super cute little concept! Sticky Business is by small indie team Spellgarden Games in Stuttgart, Germany. The studio consists of Kathrin, Sophie, Zoë, and Kasimir.

And it’s so ruddy cute! And addictive! Yes! You get to run a sticker shop, design loads of stickers, then ship them off to customers. What a glorious thing it is.

Sticking to the Tricks of the Trade in Sticky Business

This adorable little romp launched in July 2023 and is available on Steam, GOG, and Itch.io. We love it and have added it to our best video games for autistic adults list. Such is its epic, easy charms.

It’s all about the cute overload in Sticky Business. Your online shop is all setup when you begin, all you need to do is name it and get designing.

And from there it’s all very intuitive. What you need to do it:

  • Design some stickers.
  • Make them available on your shop.
  • Print off in-demand stickers.
  • Package and post them off to customers.
  • Manage time, money, and your resources.

The more you sell, the more money you get and you can expand on your store’s offerings. You get new sticker combinations, fancier paper, packaging fillers, plus a chance to design ever more outlandish stickers. Behold!

It’s one of those games games that fits neatly into the cosy genre. Sticky Business is cosiness personified with stickers.

Think of other titles, such as the Zen chillout sessions of Unpacking (2021) and you’re along the right lines.

As a casual simulation game it hits all the right marks. It’s addictive from the get-go and has your urge for making stickers go through the roof. The minimalistic appeal is immediate as you balance your designing, packaging, and printing to get the moolah flowing in.

One issue we did have with the game is it’s so bare bones that it does a little reptitive after the initial 10 hour addictive rush you hurl yourself into.

The good news there is there’s some DLC (downloadable content) out that adds a big bundle of new appeal to the experience. Please keep those coming, Spellgarden Games!

Sticky Business works so well as it doesn’t overload players with choice. It’s really a very casual game at heart, one where wholesome sticker designing is the core element.

The rest of the time you’re packaging, posting, and printing.

Repetitive as a process that may be, it works a treat and we found the cosy nature of varying packaging combinations and sending everything off very rewarding indeed.

Very enjoyable indeed. One to kick back and relax to whilst you sip tea in your slippers over the winter months (and beyond).
