Leaf Blower Revolution: Autumnal Idle Game With Leaves 🍂

Leaf Blower Revolution the idle game

As it’s autumn, we’re here with an autumnal game! Leaf Blower Revolution is available for free on Steam and offers a fair bit of fun and frolicking. You can also get it on mobile (Android and Apple).

This one is by indie team Humble North in East Frisia, Germany. It may appear a simple title, but idle games are very addictive—this one would make a fantabulous support thing for any long and tedious autumnal commutes ahead.

Get Rid of the Leaves in Leaf Blower Revolution

Idle games like Leaf Blower Revolution will only really appeal to certain types of games. We’ve long championed the cosmic beauty SPACEPLAN (2017) as the best of the, admittedly, lowkey genre.

The goal of the game? You blow leaves off the screen in the area you inhabit. The more leaves you force off, the more stuff you can buy to power-up your game!

Upgrade your gear, blow more leaves, etc.! By the time you’ve bought your first leaf blower you’ll totally be on with this and kicking some butt. Take that, you flattened structure of a higher plant!

Unlike SPACEPLAN, and similarly great mayhem romp Cookie Clicker (2013), this title is much more relaxing as the gameplay arc is much less intensive. Behold the first 10 minutes!

In this one players get to enjoy:

  • 30 different types of leaves!
  • Leaf blowers of increasingly impressive magnitude!!
  • An ever-ballooning number of leaves collected as indicated on screen!!!

Yes, then, not exactly to be taken too seriously. But like the best idle games, it hooks you in fast and leaves you wheezing to get rid of all the leaves on your screen.

Whilst it doesn’t have the immense depth of SPACEPLAN and Cookie Clicker, Leaf Blower Revolution does offer a genuinely very good free game to sink some time into.

There’s also DLC you can download to add more oomph to the experience.

It also manages to look rather pretty, what with all those yellows, oranges, browns, and greens merging together as you go about your gardening duties. There’s also a chirpy little score to go with proceedings.

Whilst the game may be only a passing fancy for many players, it’s a pleasant one at that.

Reminder, IT’S FREE! And it’s an entertaining jaunt just great for those annoying commutes (or if you fancy something different one cold autumn evening. Well worth a whirl, sir or madam.
