He’s a pinball wizard, there has to be twist! And, yes, there is. The twist is hellish, demonic, heavy metal pinball with an evil grimace.
This one is kind of like Yoku’s Island Express (2018), one of our favourite indie games, but with a HELLISH twist of demon! SCREAM!
Demon’s Tilt is Hell (sort of)
Right, so this one is about crazy pinball. The game is kind of weird and a relic of yesteryear, but there’s no reason why you can’t jazz it up a bit.
And that’s what American indie developer Adam Ferrando (WIZNWAR) was clearly aiming to achieve here. Pinball. With Hell. A noble endeavour.
The goal of the game is to deal with three screens: Lilith, Hermit, and Zodiac.
You get objectives within those screens, with the aim being of getting a great score. Let’s put in here now (note to Editor) a most excellent clip of the game. Please note, DO NOT put that clip of The Who’s drummer Keith Moon being childish about things.
Excellent, thanks for the demonstration Mr. Moon.
As you can see, the gameplay is structured around 1970s sensibilities. But with a bit of… Keith Moon throw in. And Hell. Don’t forget the demon bit.
And it’s good fun. We can’t say pinball is something we really want to go out of way to play, but this one was free on Epic Games and we decided to give it a go.
You can get it on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, Steam… the usuals. And if you want cheap thrills then this is the one for you.
Just please be aware there’s no Keith Moon included with the game.
Like, no refunds or anything on that one. Just play the game, be quiet, and yeah it’s about as simple as you can get. Nice one.
