Neighbors in the Tree Jigsaw by Simone Giertz 🌳🟨🧩🌲

Neighbors in the Tree jigsaw by Yetch Studio

It’s always time to celebrate when there’s a new Yetch jigsaw! This one just launched (July 2026) and is called Neigbors in the Tree. And we’re English, but we’re going to stick with the US spelling on this one. Honest, guv.

It’s designed to be fiendish, with a majority of edge pieces for maximum difficulty. But when you’re creating such a cute scene, what’s there to be angry about, eh?

Edge-Based Jigsaw Cuteness in Neighbors in the Tree

Yeah, so we’re big fans of Simone Giertz and what she’s achieved. From “Queen of Shitty Robots” on YouTube to founder and creative genius at her business Yetch Studio. The first edge-based jigsaw was with Summer Day on the River (2025).

That was followed by Birthday Heist on the Hillside (also 2025).

Now there’s Neighbors in the Tree. All three have artwork by artist Elin Östberg. But… this new jigsaw has a YELLOW box (and yellow is our favourite colour). Therefore, indeed, it wins and is the best.

The Nitty Gritty Jigsaw Details

There it is unboxed. You’ve got the box, the image plan for reference, and the jigsaw pieces. Of the latter, 300 of the 538 pieces are EDGE PIECES. That makes it extra tricky, so this is definitely a jigsaw to take on if you’re in the mood for a challenge.

We made a start on it and, as you’d expect, the SOB is tricky. But there are loads of cute animals on this to put together, so that’s fine.

Neighbors in the Tree is 17.7 x 21.1 inches (45 x 53.9cm) in size. To put that into perspective, here’s the jigsaw box and a moderate sized cat (Susan) as model.

And the kicked is this is £27. Bargain. Yetch has a bundle package deal, so you can now buy all three of the jigsaws for about £60 ($70-ish). A fabulous distraction from the state of the world, eh?

A Further Look Into Simone Giertz’s Inventor Mindset

Giertz excels at clever concepts, one of which recently was the Laundry Chair. It lets you stick laundry around the chair, so it’s not just splattered about the place getting in the way. Ingenious!

She’s from Stockholm in Sweden, but lives in America. Her whole approach to life is making simple solutions to daily problems, with another invention being her Magical Chore Chart (plus, a life hack on how to get stuff done).

She’s self-taught in all this stuff. The robotics and hardware knowledge, she gained a bit of knowhow at school whilst studying marketing, but then went off and did her own thing.

Yetch has been running since 2022. And get this…

It actually does GOOD marketing campaigns.

Holy… shit. A business in the mind-numbing world of capitalism that actually does clever, fun marketing that doesn’t make you want to run for the hills the moment an advert appears. Who’d have thought be being creative and clever with advertising would ever pay off, eh?

And then there’s our method, telling you to buy this bloody awesome jigsaw. OR ELSE!
